BONUS! Award-winning pies (Top 5) will be auctioned off at 12:15 PM before the Dairy Youth Auction in the Stock Pavilion Sunday on July 28, 2024.
PARTICIPANTS
- No pre-registration required.
- Open to ALL adults and youth (ages 10+).
- By entering this contest, entrants acknowledge their photo, images and information of their entry may be used by the Rock County 4-H Fair in any form without any compensation.
RECIPES
- Contest is open to any type of dessert pie recipe (except ice cream/frozen) and may be your own original creation or passed on for generations.
- Recipe (for crust and filling) must accompany entry.
- Entire recipe (all fillings and crusts) must be made from scratch by the entrant. No “purchased” or “made from a kit” pies.
ENTRY DETAIL
- Enter a pie at least 8” in diameter in a disposable pie tin or plate.
- Any type of dessert pie with any type of crust may be entered. There is no refrigeration or freezer available, therefore no ice cream/frozen pies will be allowed.
- Pies will be judged on appearance and flavor by a panel of judges.
- All pies entered become property of the Rock County 4-H Fair.
- Entrants must bring their pie to check in at the Rock County 4-H Fair (location to be determined) by 11:15 AM. Sunday, July 28, 2024.
- A 3” x 5” card with name, address & phone number must be securely attached to the pie tin (card provided at check in).
