Let’s celebrate Digging Local with your best cheesy beer bread! Must contain yeast. Let local flavors take center stage by showcasing your area craft brew and pair it with your regional legenddairy cheese. Start crafting your award-winning loaf of cheese beer yeast bread now!

The Rock County Fair winner will have a chance to compete in the Wisconsin State Fair Cheesy Beer Bread Bash Contest on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Wisconsin State Fair will send you two complimentary State Fair admission tickets and one parking pass for August 9, 2025 to the First Place winner of the Rock County Fair July 27, 2025 contest judging.

Awards provided by Rock County 4-H Fair:
First Place Winner - $50.00
Second Place Winner - $25.00
Third Place Winner - $15.00

Please provide two copies of your recipe. The recipe must be typed on 8½" x 11" paper; recipe font size must be 12 point or 14 point.
• One copy must have your name and County Fair name.
• One copy should not have your name or your Fair’s name. If your recipe is more than one page, use additional sheets of paper (single sided only).
• Recipes must be typed.
• All recipes must be original to the baker entering them. No prepared mixes may be used. All bread must contain yeast.
